The website statistics show us however that the website is visited by people from over 141 countries worldwide. From the early days of the Rent A Boat Amsterdam website we strive to make the Amsterdam boat rental market as transparent as possible and accessible to as many people as possible. Based on the fact we have some many internation visitors the decision to serve them better by providing more languages was easy.

With the introduction of the new design we would like to make a second announcement. The Rent A Boat Amsterdam Blog has always suffered a little bit from lack of attention compared to the Rent A Boat Amsterdam website itself. Since we as a company have developed we will now focus on providing more useful information to our readers. As soon as new features are added to the website we will let you know. You will met by our Jewish guide and taken aboard the 15 meter long classic canal cruise boat called The Ondine. Built in 1909, the Ondine was designed and build for a prosperous Dutch timber merchant who demanded quality. This is reflected in the superb Javanese teak used for the interior. The Ondine has exceptional headroom since the owner insisted gentlemen should be able to wear their top hats inside.

The Ondine is an historical floating monument and offers the exclusivity of your own small cruise ship, sailing along Amsterdam’s 17th century canals or surrounding waterways in order to gain a sense of the city. Amsterdam is called the Venice of the northern Europe and you will soon understand why.

During the canal tour you will be explained the Jewish elements of the rich Amsterdam history whilst we will take you to visit the Anne Frank House, the Gassan diamond factory and the Jewish Historical museum, which consists of four synagogues, the oldest dating back to 17th century.
